【VINTAGE】Introducing the Martin 000-18, made in 1952! The 000 was introduced in 1902 as the largest size at the time.It continues to be loved as a standard model and gained explosive popularity due to Clapton's unplugged live performance, and is a model that cannot be missed in the history of Martin. This model was built in late 1951 and was one of a total of 425 000-18s shipped that year. It features beautiful mahogany back and sides, a nice straight grain spruce top, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard and body binding. The neck is mahogany with a relatively slim “C” profile. The fingerboard inlays are a mixture of large and small dots, and the tuners are open-back type. This is a wonderful model that expresses all the nuances of the player, from loud and soft sounds to shimmering and delicate sounds. The scratches, stains, and dings that have accompanied it over its long history are very penetrating. There is no truss rod on this guitar, and you can feel the age of this guitar. The rarity value goes without saying. Please check it out if you are interested.
