This Martin OM-28 was produced as part of the “Martin Custom Shop Expert Selection” for Musikhaus Hermann, of course equipped with the special MHH specs. An OM-28 from regular production is already a model that represents a phenomenal combination of outstanding playability, agility, sound volume and vintage look. But this guitar from the Martin Custom Shop is simply a masterpiece! It has a fantastic Adirondack spruce top, back and sides made of beautiful Madagascar rosewood and a comfortable medium neck profile (Modified Low Oval), which ensures the best playing comfort and a great string action. It also features high-quality open tuners for outstanding tuning stability, a faux tortoise pickguard and of course the typical Herringbone ornamentation around the body. In addition to its elegant look, this fine instrument impresses above all with its enormous agility as a result of its smaller body shape and of course the solid rosewood body provides an excellent bass foundation. Despite its small size this OM-28 produces a voluminous and orchestral tone that also conveys a warm note. Rich basses, pleasant mids and brilliant trebles - balanced in all dynamic ranges, both with flatpick and above all with fingerstyle. A beautiful acoustic guitar with a fantastic sound development!
