Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1956 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop in its original finish, but we believe the back of the neck and headstock were oversprayed a very long time ago. It has had a professionally repaired headstock crack and the neck is now very structurally sound. The crack never traveled all the way through the face of the headstock. It has a great playing neck with great frets as it has been re-fretted. The bridge has been changed and it has had two other sets of tuning keys installed in its past. The correct no-line Kluson Deluxe tuning keys are now installed. There was a Bigsby installed at one time, leaving some extra holes. The bridge posts are secured in dowels that were installed in the top of the body. It has lots of nicks + dings, finish checking and a lot of other cosmetic wear. It is missing the treble/rhythm switch plate, one screw for the control cavity cover and the metal washer from underneath the jack nut. The original hardshell case is included. All electronics work and sound great as all solder joints remain original and untampered with. The weight is 8 lbs. 3.4 oz.
We are happy to ship internationally.
