This Tony Rice model D is no exception: the guitar is in excellent condition showing no signs of wear and plays wonderfully. An Adirondack Spruce top paired with Indian Rosewood back and sides is wonderfully responsive and the large soundhole contributes to the guitar's volume. The Tony Rice D model is a collaborative effort between Santa Cruz Guitars and Tony Rice, the legendary bluegrass guitarist. This instrument features a Dreadnought body shape, Sitka Spruce top wood, and Indian Rosewood body wood. The neck is made of Mahogany with an Ebony fretboard. It has a scale length of 25.375 inches and typically 20 frets.
