Ernie Ball Music Man Axis Tribute Purple Quilt
For sale is a Music Man Axis Tribute, part of a 2011 run that featured brown backs like the original 90s EVH, and especially nice tops. And this one does have quite a top, vivid and clear grain from all angles.
Condition overall is fairly clean. The top is largely free of flaws, save some light hazing and marks in the picking area, and a small mark by the bridge caused in the past by the bridge being lowered to far. There's a section of wear that is only visible if looking from an extreme angle, and is for the most part covered by the bridge. It now rests safely off the top with a proper set up. There is longer scratch in the back visible in the photographs, and a cluster of wear on the side edge, also as pictured. Very light fret wear, also pictured. In the pictures you can spot that the G string is missing, which broke during photography, but has already been replaced.
Currently set up with a fairly low string height, about 4/64"-3/64" from bass to treble with minimal relief.
Includes the original tribute hard case, trem arm, and some case candy. A really beautiful guitar, with a quilt top to marvel over.
