Slope-shouldered dreadnought with a lovely high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer Western Sunburst top, in excellent condition., with professionally-installed K&K pickup. This amazing guitar plays very well and is a cannon, with well-defined bass, clear mids, and strong but not harsh treble, incredibly rich and articulate. The top is solid baked sitka spruce supported by prewar-style scalloped X-bracing, and the back and sides are richly-grained East Indian rosewood. Attached with Collings’ mortise-and-tenon hybrid joint is the C-shaped genuine Honduran mahogany neck with “haircut” profile and bound ebony fingerboard inlaid with MOP long dots. Tuners are nickel Waverlys, and the MOP Collings logo-inlaid peghead veneer and belly bridge are both ebony. Bone nut and saddle, 1 & 11/16” nut width and 25.5” scale length, 14”-26” compound radius, and the bridge spacing is 2 & 3/16”.
