This special custom order comes with a “Tobacco Sunburst Highgloss” finish and a one-piece top(!) made of “Exceptional Curly Maple”. Matching noble mahogany for the body and neck, ebony for the fingerboard, headstock veneer and tuner buttons, “Dolphin” mother-of-pearl inlays and shiny gold hardware. A look could hardly be more exclusive! However, even more important than the look are the player features. And here this semi-hollow is convincing across the board. Firstly, we are dealing with a fabulously good playing comfort thanks to the super comfortable, medium “Custom” neck profile. Secondly, the Häussel 1959 humbucker on the bridge and the Häussel VIN humbucker on the neck deliver fantastic sounds. Even when played dry you notice the great resonance behavior of the Rietbergen. And this basic characteristic is transmitted to the amp by the two pickups with a lot of smack and sustain. PAF sound per excellence!
