PRS 40th Anniversary Custom 24 Limited Edition Sub Zero Smokeburst DESCRIPTION Introducing the 40th Anniversary Custom 24 Limited Edition, celebrating four decades of PRS Guitars. Limited to 400 pieces worldwide, this special edition features both traditional design features and new appointments, making it an essential piece for serious musicians and collectors alike. Built on the tried-and-true foundation of a mahogany back and neck with artist grade maple top, the 40th Anniversary Custom 24 boasts a retro violin top carve, PRS “Old School” birds with outlines, and PRS “Pre-Factory” headstock eagle, all of which pay homage to early PRS guitars. Outside of these aesthetic attributes, the 40th Anniversary Custom 24 is looking ahead with its all-new PRS DMO Treble and Bass pickups. DMO pickups (DMO standing for Dynamic, Musical, Open) were spec’d by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS New Products Engineering team to have a wide open sound with vocal character. Other classic Custom 24 appointments include the PRS Gen III patented tremolo, PRS Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons, and PRS Signature 10-46 strings. This limited edition also features a ziricote fretboard and headstock veneer. This commemorative run kicks off a year-long 40th Anniversary celebration for PRS Guitars. Only 400 of this 40th Anniversary Custom 24 Limited Edition will be available. Hand-signed 40th Anniversary certificate included. SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup to a comfortable action as specified by that instrument’s manufacturer. Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. We can accommodate special setup requests - additional charges and/or shipping delays of 1-2 business days could occur. INDIVIDUALLY PHOTOGRAPHED After 15 years of innovation in our photography process, Ish Guitars has developed a way to get you the most accurate true-to-life color of every instrument we sell. We never embellish, oversaturate, or misrepresent our images, so that your buying experience can be as much like visiting our showroom as possible. Keep in mind that various computer screens can show colors a bit differently, so the color on your screen may not match the real thing perfectly no matter how hard we try. Also, unless otherwise noted, we individually list and photo every piece of gear that comes through our doors. HEAR A LIVE DEMO Experience our innovative Video Appointment service!
