Mini-Humbucker Madness
Wildwoodians, this all-original '71 Les Paul is quite clean, and it's also a mean tone machine! Those original mini-humbuckers sound glorious: muscular yet biting, with a nice dollop of brightness and sparkle that aids clarity. It's a svelte take on the classic Les Paul sound, and it will no doubt inspire some lucky Gibson aficionado to plug in, crank up the volume, and rock out!
Condition Report
This '71 Deluxe is INCREDIBLE, and it's also quite clean. It shows the typical wear we expect to see on an instrument of this vintage, and it looks awesome--mojo abounds! The checking in particular is uber-cool. It also appears to be completely original, which you don't see every day. The hardware has tarnished moderately, and the chrome has rubbed off some at the tailpiece, which adds to the vintage vibe. Most of the tuners are slightly bent but function well. Finally, the frets are original but have some light pitting, and they measure about .103 inches by .034 inches.
