In collaboration with the fine luthiers at Eastman, the Bourgeois Touchstone series brings a new flavor to the world of acoustic guitars. They are a perfect mix of durability and sonic prowess, making them an excellent daily driver. Above all else, this Country Boy dreadnought is a great sounding workhorse guitar. Its semi-gloss neck and full gloss body give it a  comfortable feel, emphasized further by the neck's soft "V" carve. Aside from its toughness, this model exhibits an inspiring sound. Just like other dreadnoughts, flat picking and chord strumming are highlighted nicely. However, fingerpicking is by no means discouraged by this guitar's construction. It was evident that the guitar had a healthy midrange content that could still speak well at the lower volume often associated with fingerpicking. All things considered, the Bourgeois Country Boy dreadnought is an excellent choice for a player seeking a high quality acoustic guitar build without getting into the boutique guitar price range.
