Northwest Vintage Guitars is proud to present a super lightweight 2012 Gibson Les Paul VOS Reissue Gold Top Dark Back with all the case candy and documents.  This slab bodied beauty is only 8.19 lbs and very resonant when played unplugged.   It's not chambered.  It's a solid Mahogany body with a solid Maple cap and a one piece Mahogany neck.  Just like 1957.  And lock your peepers in on that chocolatey Rosewood Board - very nice.   Have you ever seen a lighter R7?  This R7 features a full U profile with a neck depth of .91" - 1.01" so it's your prototypical 50's carve.  The nut measures 1.69" so that tracks with the '57 spec theme.  The frets exhibit some wear, but there's no unwarranted buzzing or dead spots.  We estimate 75% fret life remains.  Fresh nickel 10-46 strings and perfectly intonated.  The Custombucker pickup combo is hard to beat and this pair doesn't disappoint.  You get everything a PAF Humbucker has to offer - warm, singing highs, Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original hard case in the photos.   This was previously listed with an incorrect year and specs, but it still weighs only 8.19 lbs.    Most questions are answered with a quick read of the FAQs posted in our Reverb storefront.
