Here's a 1966 Rickenbacker 4005 Bass in Fireglo finish. Beautiful all original example! The serial number dates the bass to December of 1966, with matching 1966 pots. There's a small hairline stress crack on the side of the neck (treble side, 1st fret, see pic), that's been professionally repaired and is completely structurally sound. Beyond that, the bass is near mint and stunning! The original Jetglo finish is still very vibrant. Nice flame on the top as well. The neck angle is wonderful on this one. Playability is exceptional, with easy playing action. Both Toaster pickups are dynamic and clear. The bass happens to sound great acoustic too!
