There are no finish cracks. The guitar feels much less worn and delicate than most old Martins do. You sacrifice the feel of an old worn neck, and the vibe of decades of dings and scratches and abuse, but you gain a guitar much better protected against the elements, and ready for another 80 years of playThe set up is excellent with low action and a straight neck.
