Hi all,I have a 1994 Jackson Dave Mustaine KV Pro for sale. These models were sold in 1993-1996, and Mustaine himself was using these playing Rust in Peace, Countdown to Extinction and Youthanasia songs live, in the absence of a USA model. These were soon replaced by the USA-made KV1 that had LSR tuners as well as the Seymour Duncan JB/59 combo (on which the Thrash Factor pickups are also based). It is often said the quality on these Japanese models was so good, it was hurting sales of the US custom shop, and these models were soon discontinued.
This guitar is in good condition - there are minor flaws as shown - including a small chip in the clear coat on one wing, light scratches and pitting on the control knobs. There is very slight contact tip damage however all these need to be examined pretty upclose to be noticeable. There is also the number 228159 inscribed into the side of the headstock by a previous Japanese owner. Overall the guitar still presents and plays well and seems to match up to Reverb's 'very good' condition. It comes with the original hardcase and will ship from Japan.
Prices seem to be all over the place - when discussed over Jackson FB groups people seem to value these lower at around $4K, and I have the following sales for reference -

Pricing this in the middle for that reason and keeping the 'make an offer' button open, please feel free to message. If it does not sell at a satisfactory price, I would be happy to keep it. I think it is well worth the almost $4K US discount over USA KV1s that seem to go for $8-10K US.
Willing to ship to US, Canada, UK, EU and Australia via EMS/UPS. I can look into shipping to other countries - do let me know via a message and I can estimate shipping and any due VAT/GST. I am also listing the full specs below -
