This guitar has just been delivered and personal circumstances have changed meaning I am unable to keep it. This guitar is completely as new condition.
Due to its very light weight and premium build, it resonates with a dry, woody and warm tone with punchy projection. I believe it rivals the much bigger custom shop banner j45 in tone with a clarity and focus in individual notes. The 1942 Banner LG-2 is extremely playable with a very comfortable neck and nut width.
Its select Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce top and mahogany back and sides make it Ideal for folk, blues, and finger style, however it responds beautifully to flat picking and strumming. Other premium appointments include hide glue construction, bone nut and saddle as well as golden age open gear tuners. It’s no wonder the LG2 is favoured by Chris Stapleton and this top of the line historic model is almost impossible to find in stock.
