2008 Santa Cruz OT Otis Taylor SignatureThis is a special Santa Cruz OT, from when the standard spec was Italian spruce and Madagascar rosewood. What’s more, it was also custom ordered with bursted top, back, sides, and neck. Not sure this configuration is available any more. A bit of a rare bird already without the custom burst. There are two pictures at the end showing it, one with light directly on it, and another showing that it disappears once the angle is changed. Very comfortable setup with string height about 5/64”- 3/64” from bass to treble, with light relief.***At first blush you may feel that you want a more usual number of frets on this guitar, but once in hand it helps to guide and specify the utility and purpose of a guitar like this. It excels with fingerstyle playing in my view, but it has a nice clarity and bite with a pick, and enough headroom for strumming. A versatile guitar with a pleasing tone quality and depth of sound.
