Here's a 1968 Martin D-28 in Natural finish. Serial 234585. This beauty comes to us from the original owner, who's a big Martin collector (and great player). The guitar features gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, spruce top, original small maple bridge plate, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, with Grover Tuners. The guitar has had a neck reset with a refret, and the bridge appears to have been off and on. And wow it sounds amazing! Like a big old cannon. Very balanced in tone, with deep warm lows, and clear trebles. Plays great too! There's a top crack repair on far right side (treble side) on the top, and one small crack repair just to the right of the pickguard. The repairs were done a long time ago, and are completely structurally sound and solid. There's nothing like a Brazilian D-28!
