White, clean and original rare color combo of white with a golden brown pickguard. Early L plate example. This finish is quite rare. The white has no lacquer clear coat so the guitar never yellowed (called titanium dioxide white by some). These early Duo Sonics have a three-way switch. The middle position puts both pickups in hum-cancelling mode. Note the Tele knobs and bridge cover that has stayed on. Because of that the bridge is extra clean. Short 22 1/2” scale but the neck has some girth and features some flame and a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with clay dot inlays. The brown case has a new homemade handle as the original is broken. Nice clean pre-CBS Fender in a rare color. Comes with the original case, strap, polish cloth, cord and handle. Consigned.
