Description

This 1969 Fender Jazzmaster is quite possibly The One. Factory refinished by Fender early in it’s life, it has a wonderfully comfortable neck, bound with pearl blocks inlays and a matching headstock to boot. . It’s wonderfully aged, and ready for another five decades of play.  Body:  Alder in factory refinished Black finish.  Neck:  Maple with a bound Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.65” nut width, 21 frets,  pearl block inlays. Pickups/Hardware:  Fender Jazzmaster pickups, original Fender tuning keys, patented "floating" tremolo, adjustable bridge with threaded saddles, aged white plastic knobs,  bone nut. Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has light surface scratches, dents and dings on the body comenserate with a 55 year old guitar. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic. Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. Weight: 7 lbs. 12 oz. Case: This guitar ships with a it’s original hardshell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
