VERY Clean Pre War MartinVintage 1940 Martin 0-15 Acoustic GuitarPlays/Sounds ExcellentSN: #75970Top, Back, Sides, Neck: MahoganyExcellent Action! 1/8" @12th Fret If you're seeing something of concern not described below, please ask...The entire guitars finish was properly black lighted, is very consistent and looks good. It may have been over sprayed long ago, but maybe not.. We are not 100% sure, so please view included video which includes interior view, as well as exterior black lighting.Condition Description:This Vintage Martin 0-15 is a great playing and incredible sounding guitar. It will have average scratch's, dings and marks here and there, but still in incredible condition for a 83 year old pre war Martin. Issues to note would be a few unrepaired hairline cracks on the side, one on the back, what appears to be an old reglue of a top brace and possibly a crack repair on the top edge of the lower bout. No separation and nothing terrible, but he buyer would probably want to secure them at some point. There are no signs of the pickguard ever being replaced, but this one appears a little shorter than some you normally see. The original bridge is in great shape, flat, tight and does not appear to be a reglue. String pins & strap button are not original. That's the extent of if and is truly a beautiful example of a Vintage Martin Pre War Survivor! The fingerboard shows wear as pictured, but the frets are in great shape showing minimal wear and plays beautifully as it sits (see pics). I would have to guess that this was re-fretted at some point. Current string height is 1/8" at the 12th fret and plays amazing! The original tuners are in great shape and operate as they should. The back of the neck and headstock are also in great condition showing average wear/flaws as pictured (see pics). My pics are very descriptive, so scroll down to see them all!If your a player or collector, this Pre War Martin 0-15 will make a great addition! Its truly a great playing/sounding guitar. Although, I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility to have it set up to your liking. Its set up and plays great as it sits. The included chipboard case is probably a little newer than the guitar, but still old and vintage. All the latches and hinges work. The case will obviously show wear and tear, but is a perfect fit for the guitar.Make sure you view all of the pics, and ask questions if you have any concerns before buying.I will ship this item over seas, but you must contact me for a shipping quote before buying.
