This is a brand new 2023 guitar that I never played because I wasn't sure In would keep it my collection, due to my reducing my guitar collection down too a total of 20 guitars. The bass response on this guitar is legendary! There is a very interesting story behind this guitar in that it is an acoustic Elvis edition Dove, with a black on black finish that's modeled after a guitar given to Elvis Presley by his Dad in 1969 --- Supposedly to celebrate Elvis earning his black belt in karate. Pretty cool, huh? As I understand it, it became a regular during Elvis' live performances during the early and mid 70's, no doubt because the Dove offers a powerful, cutting strumming tone the King himself favored. As with all things Elvis is dripping with style: the stark the stark mirror image ebony finish highlights the mother of pearl inlays in the bridge and neck, and gold plated Grover Keystone tuners on the headstock, An LR Baggs VTC under saddle pickups round this Dove out, all adding up to an axe worthy of any serious guitar. This is a brand new guitar I purchased from Sweetwater for $4,600 plus tax. I'm letting it go for $901 off, at $3,699.
