Awesome Martin 000-ECHF Bellezza Bianca Eric Clapton Limited Edition built in 2006 with a white nitro finish on an Engelmann Spruce top, Big Leaf Maple back & sides and a Honduran Mahogany neck! This ‘White Beauty’ would fit perfect in Eric’s white room!This rare Martin 000-ECHF Bellezza Bianca Eric Clapton Limited Edition made in 2006, bearing serial # 357 of 410, is Martin’s all White w/black trim version of the ever popular “Eric Clapton” 000-28 model, its black & white herringbone trim becomes magical against the white finish. Based on the 14-fret 000 guitar body, the Martin 000-ECHF Bellezza Bianca uses a solid Engelmann Spruce top and Big Leaf Maple for the back and sides. The body blocks and diamond-volute, vintage V-profile neck are Honduran Mahogany. A classic Torch style inlay in Abalone and other Shell adorns the headstock. The rosette also features ‘slotted Abalone diamond’ inlays on a black ring. Between the last two frets, “Bellezza Bianca” is inlaid in Mother of Pearl. The finish is a gloss white Nitrocellulose lacquer, and slightly yellowed Ivoroid binding encircle the guitar’s top, back, fingerboard and headstock.The idea for this guitar came to life in 2005. Martin got with Eric Clapton & guitar designer Hiroshi Fujiwara to make two different series of Eric’s 000-28 model. They came up with a Black Edition in 2005. And given Clapton’s history with the white room, they also designed the White Series in 2006. This one will take you straight into Cream’s white room, having many beautiful added trim options added to the regular Clapton model.  Her Ebony fingerboard has all the ornate abalone inlays of the 30s. Eric Clapton & Chris Martin IV signed the guitar. Also, her designers & builders, Hiroshi Fujiwara & Dick Boak, both long time Martin employees, were given the honor to co-sign. She comes complete w/its original White gator/white lined Martin supplied hard case.Overall condition is great and would be rated as excellent. However, she shows some minor play marks and some discoloration of the nitro lacquer. Over the years, nitro will turn into a yellowish color when exposed to UV light (like sunlight). This process is visible on the sides of the guitar, not on the top. Given the white, it does not distract but put the condition to very good. I have included a picture that shows the discoloration. Action is medium. No other remarks, brilliant guitar, very good condition!!
