Really cool vintage Strat, refinished by Josh Grove at Protocaster Guitars. Josh does amazing period correct finishing and realistic aging that looks like a proper vintage guitar!!!Neck is dated late 1965, very early big headstock!!! Deacal and tuners are original. The neck has been refretted , and the board appears to have been planed. The veneer seems thinner, very common on these. Also, the current frets are a bit low, if you like tall frets this one would need a re fret. The pickups are new "Flying Mojo" pickups which are really great sounding!! and the pots are not original, but the switch looks original. The tremolo bridge and saddles are original and comes with the original case!!! We all know what these cost in collector condition, so if you want that vintage sound and feel for a lot less money this might be the one for you!!!
