The Legacy R Squareneck offers a modern design and sound on a traditional resonator guitar. The combination of a spider cone and solid wood generates a powerful, smooth sound that is perfect for a slide, fingerstyle blues, or driving rhythm. The Legacy R offers a different full-bodied sound than the traditional Tri-cone or Biscuit guitar. Body:The Legacy R-Model Squareneck is a small body mahogany guitar with curly maple binding and is available with a traditional soundwell or open body construction. It comes standard in a tobacco sunburst. Neck:Made of solid mahogany, it has an ebony fretboard, slotted diamond inlays, and an ebony peghead veneer. All Beard roundnecks are built with a double action truss rod and an ebony truss rod cover. Parts:In addition to an Original #14 spider™ and Beard Legend Cone™, the Legacy R-Model comes standard with a Beard chrome tailpiece, screens/rings, and fan coverplate. All Beards come standard with Gotoh tuners.
