Description

Here we have another special treat for all lovers of Super-Strats! This Masterbuilt HSS by Andy Hicks in the super authentic Journeyman finish definitely leads to an absolute feeling of well-being as soon as you pick it up and connect it to the amp. This is where a top look meets a wonderfully multi-faceted killer sound. In terms of sound, it can do almost anything! The two “Handwound Poblano” singlecoils on the neck and middle position deliver beautifully pearly, bell-like, crystal-clear tones and the “Pearly Gates” humbucker on the bridge conjures up phenomenally sawing, fat Rock planks when required. With this attractive Strat in a subtly reliced “Aged Fiesta Red” finish you get the perfect live guitar: in terms of sound, it really can offer everything your heart desires and can be used to play pretty much any style of music. Of course the guitar's fantastically pleasant playing characteristics also match this thanks to its modern specs. The “roasted” alder body and maple neck alone are fascinating, the neck with its 12'' fingerboard radius and “60 Style Oval C” profile in combination with the wonderful Narrow/Tall frets is great to play and only confirms the first impression that you simply want to have this Strat. Of course the beautiful finish is also enchanting, with the Fiesta Red coming across as superbly faded and visually rounded off by the Faux Tortoise pickguard. And Andy has really come up with something when it comes to the Journeyman aging. He doesn't just limit himself to countless hairline cracks and a few minor blemishes, but even goes so far as to take individual paint distortions into account. You can see the masterbuilder's love of detail... We are therefore delighted to be able to offer you this multi-faceted Super-Strat in top condition with only minimal traces of use on the first frets.incl. original case, certificate, spec sheet, strap, case candyweight: 3410 gramssubject to differential taxation
