For your consideration: a 1962 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sunburst finish. Pre-CBS model with slab board neck - looks and plays amazing. The guitar is all original except for an old professional neck refinish (on the back of the neck only). The refin blends seamlessly and could easily be mistaken for the original. There is some light overspray over the original decal which glows under backlighting. There are some modifications to the screw holes under the neck plate, likely from being used without a plate at one point, but an authentic 1962 neck plate is back on now.The neck is stamped 4MAY62B, and the volume pot dates to the 18th week of 1962, though the tone pot date is obscured by solder. The original frets still have life and provide smooth playability.With natural wear and checking, this Jazzmaster exudes vintage vibes and mojo!
