1955 Epiphone Emperor Zephyr Regent! That’s a lotta name, but its a lotta guitar! Epiphone’s biggest and baddest guitar produced in the 1950s. Here they were trying to compete with Gibson’s Super 400, the Switchmaster, and even Fender’s soon to be available 3 pickup Stratocaster. This guitar works and plays great, all the switches and “NY pickups” work giving you every combination of selection and sounds… and best yet… its GREEN! Refinished a long time ago, it has aged and looks super cool. Large refret has it playing like butter. The only things not original is the pick guard (which I had and replaced the rotted original) and the tuners, which are later gold Grover Deluxes. Comes with the original 18” brown case!
