In 2004, Fender introduced a few special models to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Strat. One of the nicest has to be the American Deluxe Anniversary Strat. Top notch quality approaching Custom Shop levels. The body is alder for great tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and abalone dot inlays. A trio of Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups deliver buzz free vintage tones. The pickups are hooked to a 5 way switch as well as Fenders innovative S-1 switching for tons of tones. A modern two point trem and locking tuners keep it all rock solid. All hardware is gold plated for a classy look including the special 50th anniversary neck plate. A two tone sunburst finish adorns this beauty for a cool 50s look. A great instrument that would make Leo proud. Our Am.deLuxe 50th Ann.Strat is in practical newstate and is hardly played.
