This stunning Stratocaster has been refinished in its original Fiesta Red color by Dave Blackshear, who discovered an original piece of tape from the factory under the pickguard noting the color. It’s an exceptional player with a lightweight original alder body at 7.7 pounds and a comfortable, dark Brazilian slab Rosewood fretboard with clay dots. The guitar features two original pickups, with an output matching Don Mare bridge pickup, and has been wired so the bridge pickup includes a tone control. There is also an added 5 way selector switch. A professional refret with medium jumbo frets enhances playability, while the classic look is completed by the original green guard and knobs, which beautifully complement the Fiesta Red finish. The logo, nut and three way switch have been replaced, and it comes with the original trem arm in a newer tweed hard case. Consigned.
