Description

We are extremely pleased to be able to offer you another specimen of the “Greeny Kirk Hammett”, produced in extremely limited numbers by the Gibson Custom Shop. It is a replica of the '59 Les Paul “Greeny” as it currently looks since it has been in the hands of Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammet. What can we say about the “Greeny” that is not already well known? Certainly the most legendary and world-famous Paula, which made music history in the hands of Peter Green and Gary Moore. “Albatross” and ‘Parisienne Walkways’ are the tunes associated with this musical icon, which now continues to see the light of the biggest stages with Kirk Hammett. And here, too, the finish and the top of the “Greeny” are simply phenomenal. It's amazing how authentically the guys at Murphy Lab have recreated the look of the original. The real “Greeny” has been meticulously replicated with extreme attention to detail. From the characteristic paint scratches and significant abrasions to the carved “KH” initials on the back! In addition, this lightweight Paula (only 3830 grams) with its pleasant medium “Custom Greeny” neck profile also offers the very best playing characteristics. And there's probably no need to mention its absolutely killer sound. The amp really gets going here including the characteristic “out of phase” sound. The sound literally jumps out at you. Incredibly direct and open. You can work brilliantly with the tone and the neck pickup sings phenomenally. “Still Got the Blues” at its very best! The guitar is in absolute top condition and comes directly from the first owner. A rare icon of music history, which in addition to its characteristic top look, outstanding playability and special sound, certainly also guarantees the very best value retention.incl. original case, certificate, hangtagsweight: 3830 gramssubject to differential taxation
