This Fender Bass VI was made in the USA in 1963. It has an original blond finish and therefore has an Ash body, only used on blond Fender guitars. This example shows considerable play wear but no structural damage. The original finish is heavily checked and has flaked in a few spots but not too bad. Most of the parts are original but it does have newer pots, knobs, and tuners. The tuners are aged repro klusons and there are no visible extra holes etc. This bass has been pro-setup in our store and plays and sounds great. It comes with the original hard case.
