This 2011 Martin Custom Shop CS35-11 (essentially a D-35 with upgraded woods) sounds deep and shimmery, and it is in excellent condition! Check out the included demo video.I had never encountered a CS35 until this one came in. It’s an eye-catching modern interpretation of a D-35, with a beautiful tonal profile thanks to the Carpathian Spruce top and Madagascar Rosewood back and sides. The wood grain on the top is very pronounced, and the 3-piece back, featuring “wavy” (rather than straight) wedges, is unlike anything I’ve seen before. The guitar is powerful, sparkly, and super easy to play thanks to a perfect setup!It features an adjustable truss rod, Waverly tuners, bone nut/saddle/bridge pins, hide glue construction, Adirondack spruce braces, and a 1 11/16” nut width. The neck profile is something of a slimmer oval-shape. There is very little surface wear to speak of – it has been super well-preserved. A Fishman Matrix Infinity undersaddle pickup has been installed.Asking $4,400 here on Reverb (slightly lower on other forums) plus shipping.
