To create a more street-friendly motorcycle, the 890 Duke offers a slightly lower 32.3-inch seat height, accompanied by what KTM calls a "less purposeful" riding position, than the R bike. It also comes with a passenger seat and pegs, making the standard Duke well-rounded. The handlebar is still four-position adjustable. All around LED lighting is standard. Electronics have always been a strong suit for the middleweight Duke machines, and the standard 890, with its 5-inch full-color TFT instrument panel, is no different. Returning to the party is a full-suite of 6-axis IMU supported rider aides, including cornering ABS, lean-angle-sensitive traction control and wheelie control with preset intervention levels controlled by the standard Rain, Street and Sport riding modes.
