The Maserati MC12 is a limited-edition supercar produced between 2004 and 2005, marking Maserati’s return to racing. It shares much of its mechanical underpinnings with the Ferrari Enzo, such as the engine, chassis, and gearbox, but features a distinct design and tuning. Only 50 road-legal units were made, alongside 12 racing versions.
The MC12 is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces 621 horsepower and 652 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph. The car’s design is aerodynamic, with a long body and a large rear wing for high-speed stability.
The MC12 was developed primarily for the FIA GT Championship, where it enjoyed significant success, winning multiple races and championships in the GT1 class.
Due to its limited production and racing heritage, the MC12 is highly valuable, with prices today reaching over $3 million.
