Description

1 Previous Owner, This lot will be auctioned via Historics Classic and Sportscar Auctioneers, Ascot Racecourse sale on Saturday 14th of September, SL5 7JX. The Porsche 991 is the internal designation for the seventh generation of the Porsche 911, unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show on 15th September as the replacement for the 997. The 991 was an entirely new platform, only the third since the original 911 launched in 1963 (the 996 of 1999 was the second new platform). Introduced in 2012, the 991 Turbo has a twin turbocharged 3.8 litre flat-six engine generating 513bhp and 457lb ft of torque with all-wheel drive. The Turbo comes as standard with Porsche's PDK dual clutch transmission and is the first Turbo model not to feature a manual transmission. The car was faster and lighter thanks to greater use of aluminium, but also more comfortable than ever before. The Turbo S in particular is the pinnacle of the 911 range, offering the best balance of comfort and performance before moving towards track orientated models such as the GT3 and GT3 RS.Our vendor purchased this car in 2016, as a pre-registered car, meaning he has been its only private owner from new, the first being the main dealer who registered it. Being a Turbo S, the car is particularly highly optioned, with carbon ceramic brakes, sunroof, sport chrono and Bose sound system. The car has been used sparingly over the past nine years, having covered an average of only just over 2,000 miles per year. The overall condition of the car is as would be expected of such a low mileage example, the white bodywork gleams and the black interior is in absolutely superb order. The diamond cut centrelock wheels are in extremely good condition too. The car has always been maintained by Porsche main agents and other than routine maintenance, has never required any series attention. The car is supplied to auction with a V5C registration document, MoT test certificate, owners books and service booklet. The private registration P11 DNT is also included in the sale.
