Of those 73 only a handful were Paint to Sample like this car we have, which is in stealthy ‘A1’ Black. The 2016 R was built to commemorate the 1967 911R which was the lightest, meanest, most focused 911 that had been made up until that point. The modern R was based on the 991.1 GT3RS but with less aero, a 6-speed manual transmission and less weight (circa 50kg), but still retained the sensation 4.0 naturally aspirated flat 6, which howls all the way to 8,600rpm red line.
