The car was first registered in May 2000, and has covered just 22,900 miles from new in the hands of it’s keepers, it is now available today in fantastic condition from a highly regarded, lifelong Ferrari enthusiast and collector. Finished in the classic hue of Nero Daytona, this 550 looks exceptionally smart with its silver wheels, and red brake callipers. The paintwork is in fantastic condition having benefitted from PPF to the front bumper. It is fitted with the correct original 18inch alloys, which are in unmarked condition, and all four tyres are correct Pirelli items in great condition with plenty of remaining tread. Scuderia shields on the front wings are also an optional extra on this particular car. The interior is in equally great condition with ‘Crema’ interior and Nero’ piping. The seats are fully electric and also show very little age or wear to the bolsters or rest of the seat. The common sticky switches have been professionally removed and refinished at great expense within the last year, therefore the interior presents very well. With recent maintenance from Ferrari Specialists Emblem Sports Cars, and a great history file, this 550 is ready to join a collection or would equally be right at home to to hit the open road as a perfect low mileage, well maintained grand tourer. The Ferrari 550 was built as a front-engine grand tourer, replacing the F512M. It featured a 5.5L V12 engine and was offered in both Maranello and Barchetta variants. Produced from 1996 to 2001, it boasted a top speed of 320 km/h and 0 to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds.
