VIEWINGS WELCOME BY APPOINTMENT ONLY /// ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND VIDEOS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. EQUIPMENT: GT Silver metallic paintwork, Dark grey natural leather upholstery, 18-inch Carrera alloy wheels, X51 Power Kit (345hp), 6-speed manual transmission, Sports suspension (10mm lower), Porsche Stability Management (PSM), Limited-slip differential, Turbo front bumper, Aero kit side skirts, Heated and electric sports seats, Front seat backs in GT Silver, Centre console in GT Silver, GT2 gear lever, Electric sunroof, Aluminium instrument rings, 40 Jahre Limited Edition plaque (No. 1130), '911' logo door entry guards, Bose sound system, Porsche Classic PCCM Plus with USB and Bluetooth, Original order form and bill of sale, Spare remote key. EXTERIOR: This special 996 is finished in GT Silver metallic, a colour exclusive to the 911 '40 Jahre' and the Carrera GT. Other distinguishing exterior features of the model include the Turbo front bumper, Aero Kit side skirts, lower sports suspension, and unique rear badging. Of the 1,963 Anniversary editions produced only 200 found their way to the UK, and this is one such example. All sat on 18-inch Carrera alloy wheels, and bi-Xenon headlights were also standard fitment. The car is very well presented but in line with the mileage of 69k there are a handful of small chips and discreet marks including a small blister on the edge of the roof panel. The paintwork has just been treated to a machine polish by our in-house detailer giving a lovely deep shine with no off-colour areas to report. The headlights are also nice and clear, and looking along both sides the body is free from any car park dings. Having seen just two owners from new this rare special edition will no doubt be an attractive prospect for any 911 enthusiast or collector. INTERIOR: Inside, the 40th Anniversary 911 was equipped with full natural leather upholstery in contrasting dark grey, with dark grey carpets and a number of silver elements including aluminum instrument rings and a GT Silver centre console. The interior of this particular example remains in fine order. The heated front seats present in fantastic condition with no major wear to the bolsters or perforated sections, and all the electric adjustments work as they should. The dashboard and centre console are excellent, and the steering wheel still has a great texture to the leather. In the footwells are original Porsche overmats and the individually numbered plaque also remains in place. For modern convenience the cabin is lifted further with the recent addition of a genuine Porsche PCCM Plus multimedia head unit with Bluetooth and USB, etc. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION: One of the most important features of the of 996 '40 Jahre' was the X51 performance kit which increased power from 320hp to 345hp thanks to a number of factory engine upgrades including modified cylinder heads, camshafts, exhaust manifolds, etc. This more potent 3.6-litre engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission that still feels tight and precise to operate. Reading through the paperwork it's clear the car has always been maintained to a high standard by only Porsche or Porsche specialists. There are 12 stamps in the original book and the last service was only recently carried out in October 2024. The IMS bearing was upgraded at Porsche fairly early in the car's life, and in 2016 the clutch and rear main seal were also replaced. HISTORY FILE: This lovely 996 Anniversary is one of just 200 UK right-hand drive (C16) examples produced. It was supplied to its first owner, Ms Johannson, by Porsche Centre Reading in March 2004 and it has changed hands only once since then (in 2015). The car has recently returned from a major service and check over at Cridfords, the invoice for this work totalling more than £4,500 in October 2024. The accompanying History File comprises a thick raft of Porsche and marque specialist invoices, MOT certificates, tracker documentation, period sales literature, and even the original order form, bill of sale, and first V5 from late 2003/early 2004. The original Porsche document wallet and handbooks are also on file along with the current V5 showing only 1 former keeper. Please visit our website for a full write up and additional photographs. Three-month warranty included. Worldwide shipping is available on request. VIEWINGS STRICTLY BY APPOINTMENT. For updates of new stock please join us on Facebook and Instagram.
