After the end of production of the 400 Porsche 924 Carrera GT road sports cars at the beginning of December 1980, a small evolution series of pure competitive cars was launched: the Porsche 924 Carrera GTS. Only 50 GTS were ever built making this one of the rarest Porsches ever made. The ultra-light 1,121 kg sport chassis was fitted with triangular control arms and McPherson telescopic spring struts at the front, cast aluminum diagonal control arms with coil springs at the rear, stabilizers, and Bilstein gas-filled shock absorbers. Our example is extra special as it came with optional road spec interior, and to our knowledge this is the only one of the 50 cars that didn’t come with roll cage and bucket seats. A true one-of-one unicorn. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about this gem.
