This S2 Roadster is in a relitevly good state even though we are offering as a restoration project as it will require restoration. This is a numbers matching Jaguar. The engine block number matches the id tag by the battery. Based on online data this car has only been driven a few thousand miles since 1995. The only reason the car was sold to the previous owner was that he could no longer drive. The car spent its life in South Carolina from 1970-1978, and since moving to Minnesota it has been stored every winter. The only time the car has ever seen snow was on a trip back from Las Vegas while traveling through the mountains. The 4.2L, 6-cylinder engine was rebuilt 12 years ago at a cost of around five-thousand dollars, but due to a divorce and subsequent moving, the receipt for the rebuild could not be located. We would suggest that the engine will require a rebuild based on it being stored and unused for numerous years.
