This Bentley Continental GTC Number 1 Edition is a rare and particularly well-appointed convertible grand tourer, released in tribute to the iconic Bentley Blower of 1929 and limited to just 100 examples worldwide.
Under the bonnet sits a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12, delivering 626bhp and 664lb-ft of torque to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift.
Based on the Continental GT Convertible, the Number 1 Edition features a handful of bespoke styling features including commemorative interior and exterior badging, unique LED lighting patterns, a carbon-fibre body kit, the number ‘1’ painted on the grille in reference to the brand’s historic motorsport markings, and 22-inch alloy wheels in gloss black.
Further upgrades include a miniature replica of the Bentley Blower’s distinctive wheel spinner on the interior rotating display, formed from a piece of piston taken from the original car.
This example is finished in Dragon Red II with a Beluga soft top over a Cricket Ball Red leather-trimmed cabin, offset by gold-toned stitching and machine-turned inlays.
Its black 22-inch wheels house black-toned callipers and are fitted with Pirelli P Zero All-Season tyres.
Equipment includes front and rear parking assistance, a heated multifunction steering wheel, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, electrically adjustable front seats with heating, ventilation, massage, memory, and neck-warming functions, and a central infotainment system with satellite navigation and smartphone connectivity.
Accompanying the sale is the owner’s book pack, service history, V5C, Certificate of Authenticity, battery charger, a scale model of the 1929 Bentley Blower, and two keys.
Our example has covered an extremely low 1200 miles from new.
This is a chance to own a very rare collectors car that can be enjoyed for years to come whilst only appreciating in value over time.
