First registered October 1993 (L Prefix) this superb Aston Martin Virage Volante is The property of a gentleman, and one of two cars from his collection that we are currently offering for sale. With just over 17,000 miles recorded this immaculate Virage was acquired by the most recent titled keeper in May 2016 with 14,000 miles recorded. Finished in Buckinghamshire Green with Magnolia Leather piped Green, Green Top Roll and carpets. Introduced at the Birmingham Motor Show in 1988 The V8-powered model was positioned as the company's expensive hand-built flagship model, with the DB7 i6, positioned below it as an entry-level model. Despite its mass the 32-valve 5.3 Litre 330 bhp V8 engines elevated the performance of the Virage to near super car levels. A top speed of 158 mph was attainable, and the automatic variant could accelerate to 60 mph from a standing start in a claimed 6.5 seconds. Such was the desirability of the Virage it attracted many celebrity owners including Rowan Atkinson, Chris Eubank and Elton John. Very comprehensive records are with the car including the original handbooks and service voucher book showing ten Main Dealer stamps to 10,000 miles in October 2006, with the majority of these services supported by invoices as well. Subsequent to the early service history the Virage has been looked after by Davron of Salisbury, Cummins of Bodmin and most recently the Runnymede Motor Company who supplied the car to its current keeper. With condition commensurate with such low mileage and a solid history we are of the opinion that this well priced example can fit well into an investment portfolio, or simply just be used and enjoyed for being an important part of British motoring heritage.
