Description

With the introduction of the 250GT in 1954, Ferrari created their first V12 Berlinetta and a formula that would produce some of the Marques most desirable models. Throughout the 1960's iconic examples continued and included both the 275GTB and the now legendary 365 GTB/4 Daytona. The launch of the 550 Maranello in Geneva in 1996 marked a return to this proven layout and for the first time since the Daytona in 1974, saw Ferrari pair a large-capacity front-mounted V12 with a sleek and purposeful rear-wheel-drive coupe. With the revised 575'M' following in 2002, numerous modifications included interior and exterior styling enhancements courtesy of Pininfarina. Further mechanical improvements saw a significant increase in both engine capacity and performance with the 5.75-litre V12 producing 515 bhp. Together with improved braking and a self-adaptive suspension system, the 575M was also the first road going Ferrari V12 to be offered with the all new F1 Magneti Marelli paddle-shift gearbox. Finished in the classic and desirable colour combination of Tour de France Blue paintwork with Crema leather interior and dark blue carpeting, we are delighted to offer this excellent 575M for sale. The list of specified extras includes the F1 semi-automatic 6 Speed transmission and interior upgrades which include dark blue piping to the seats and embossed headrests. The exterior paintwork is complemented by Scuderia shields which are matched with optional yellow brake calipers. Delivered new by Glenvarigill Ferrari in September 2003, the 575M has covered a total of 69,000 miles with just three former keepers and has a complete and fully documented service history. With the original leather document wallets and manuals, the complete history confirms that the 575M has been appreciated and regularly serviced and maintained without compromise by leading Ferrari agents and recognized and respected specialists. With the most recent full service completed by Rardley in June 2024 less than 1000 miles ago, this 575M is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner. Please enquire for further details.

About 575

Launched in 2002, the Ferrari 575M Maranello updated the 550 Maranello, boosting its power and style. It sports a 5.7-liter V12 engine, pushing out 515 horsepower. This lets it zip from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, topping speeds over 200 mph. It came with a choice of a 6-speed manual or an F1-style gear system, improving its speed and feel. The 575M got tweaks in handling and comfort, with new suspension, bigger brakes, and better aerodynamics. These changes made it fast but stable at high speeds. Inside, it offers a mix of luxury and sportiness, with fine leather and modern comforts, making for a thrilling yet plush ride. Made in limited numbers, the Ferrari 575M Maranello is a prized find, blending Ferrari's race edge with everyday luxury.
