Designed by Gordon Murray, it features butterfly doors and a full carbon fibre-reinforced monocoque with carbon fibre body panels. Powered by a 5.4-litre supercharged V8 engine producing 617bhp, the SLR achieves an impressive top speed of 207mph and is equipped with carbon ceramic brakes as well as an active aerodynamics system, utilizing the rear spoiler as an air brake when necessary.
