The Vauxhall Astra Electric Ultimate is a high-specification electric vehicle that offers a sleek design and solid performance. Available in a striking white (as well as other colors like cobalt blue), it’s part of the eighth-generation Astra lineup. This Astra is equipped with a 54kWh battery and a front-mounted 154bhp electric motor, providing a range of up to 258 miles on a full charge, though real-world driving conditions may yield lower figures, especially in colder weather. The Ultimate trim comes fully loaded with features, including semi-autonomous driving aids, a head-up display, voice recognition, and IntelliLux pixel LED headlamps, which adapt to the road conditions. The driving experience is boosted by three modes—Sport, Normal, and Eco—helping drivers manage power usage to extend range. Charging the Astra is convenient, with capabilities of up to 100kW on a fast DC charger, allowing a 10-80% charge in about 30 minutes. For home use, an overnight charge via a 7.4kW wallbox takes around eight hours.
