The engine was upgraded to a twin carb more powerful 2.0lt 75HP with specialist exhausts supplied by Oettinger a VW Specialist In Germany, Then Imported by the previous & current owner in 2020 with 5687miles on the clock. Who then had the car totally mechanically reconditioned by Jacks Garage in London a Classic VW Beetle specialist as new with no expense spared (see pics of invoices of work done & spent) a total of £6,981.7 The car is in almost concourse condition & starts & runs faultlessly with only 7381 miles showing today after the restoration!!
