Frontispiece, title and further illustrations in the text also by Minton. Some losses to the upper edge of the jacket around the spine, some other lighter edge wear, a little spotting to the cloth, otherwise very good. The author's first book.

This was Elizabeth David's first book, which introduced post-war Britain to the rich flavors and ingredients of Mediterranean cuisine.
