The First UK printings published by Fourth Estate, London in 2009-2020. An exceptional set of the Wolf Hall trilogy. The BOOKS are all in near Fine condition and appear unread. Some commonly encountered light toning to the text-block of Vol.1 . The books are clean internally and appear unread. The WRAPPERS are in near Fine condition and protected in removable Brodart archival covers. The first 2 books in the series, 'Wolf Hall ' and 'Bring Up The Bodies' both won the Booker Prize, in 2009 and 2012 respectively, making Hilary Mantel the first woman to win the prize twice, and only the 4th author to have done so (now 5 authors after Margaret Atwood's shared win in 2019). All three volumes have been signed (without dedication) by the author to the title page. 'Wolf Hall' was signed to the title page, in person by Dame Hilary at the Oxford Literary Festival in 2015. 'Bring Up the Bodies and 'The Mirror and the Light' are both the first Trade edition (Waterstones). It is important to note that most of the available signed copies of this book are signed to a special tipped in 'Limited Signed Edition' page, or to the publisher's bookplate.
