First Edition/Stated First Printing; A Near Fine book in a Very Good dust jacket. A lovely copy of this important collection of essays by the author of "Atlas Shrugged" and "The Fountainhead"; includes her essay "The Objectivist Ethics", originally delivered to the University of Wisconsin in 1961. This copy is in near fine condition with a tight, apparently unread binding (binding does have a slight lean), bright dark blue lettering over light and dark blue boards, and clean, white pages throughout; the book does show some mild sunning to the top board edges and a gentle push to both spine ends. Housed in a crisp and clean very good dust jacket that shows only some light rubbing and creasing to the spine ends, top edges, and corners, else near fine or better. Not price clipped ($4.50 intact), not remaindered, not ex-library. In archival protection and will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.
