A fine copy of the "Pennyroyal Oz" limited edition profusely illustrated and SIGNED by the illustrator Barry Moser with "An Appreciation" by Justin G. Schiller, one of the world's premier experts and dealers in children's books. This copy additionally SIGNED by Justin Schiller ("An Appreciation", page 268) Attractively housed in the publisher's cloth clamshell case. One of 350 copies signed by the illustrator, Barry Moser. The book was designed by Barry Moser and printed by Harold McGrath in the summer pf 1985. The type is Van Dijck and is set in Monotype by Mackenzie-Harris, San Francisco. The archival paper is Mohawk Letterpress. Hand composition was done by P. Chase Twichell and the calligraphy is the work of Yvetter Rutledge. Bound by David Bourbeau. In fine condition with no evidence of wear and a true collector's copy.

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is a children's novel written by L. Frank Baum. It tells the story of Dorothy, a young farm girl who is whisked away to the magical Land of Oz by a tornado. Alongside her dog Toto, she meets a Scarecrow, a Tin Woodman, and a Cowardly Lion, and they journey together to the Emerald City to meet the Wizard of Oz. Along the way, they face various challenges and the wicked Witch of the West. Dorothy's goal is to return home to Kansas, and she eventually discovers that the power to do so has been with her all along. The story is celebrated for its vivid imagery, and the underlying message that true bravery, love, and intelligence come from within.
